For the third year in a row, members of the GBRRA manned the registration table for parade entries at 13th and the Boulevard. It was great fun meeting many of the people who make the annual parade such a success, plus we got a free pancake breakfast. The Lions Club did a great job. One person who enters many parades commented that the North Van Canada Day Parade is the best organized. Kudos to the Legion and to everyone who came out! It was a great day!
With the registration table being in good hands, GBRRA’s chair Fiona Walsh volunteered to escort the RCMP Safety Bear during the parade.
